SŚAINT x Shevoke - The Evening That Was

There is a particular kind of evening that doesn't need to announce itself. Thursday night at Fratelli Paradiso in Potts Point was that kind. A curtain at the door, candlelight low across the table, handwritten place cards, and a limited-edition gift box at every seat. Shevoke and SŚAINT had gathered an intimate group to mark the arrival of something that had been worth the wait.

The collaboration started with a simple observation: eyewear and fragrance occupy the same moment - the last two things you reach for before you leave the house. One for how you're seen. The other for how you're remembered long after you've left the room. The result is a sharp rectangular sunglass and a limited-edition eau de parfum, its notes of bergamot and pink pepper giving way to amberwood and patchouli before settling into amber, blonde cedar and moss. Worn together, they complete something. Seen and sensed.

The evening opened with a custom cocktail built around the perfume's own notes - bergamot and pink peppercorn finding their way into the glass as naturally as they do on the wrist. A fitting start. The menu that followed was pure Fratelli Paradiso: calamari Sant'Andrea, carpaccio di manzo, a bistecca alla fiorentina that arrived with the kind of weight the evening deserved, and tiramisu to close.
