Q&A with Josefine Justensen

Q&A with Josefine Justensen

Meet the muse behind Shevoke's latest campaign in Copenhagen: Josefine Justensen.

Q: Tell us a bit about yourself - Where are you from?
JJ: I’m 20 years old and currently living in Copenhagen with my boyfriend, but grew up in a small town called Holbæk.

Q: How would you describe your style?
JJ: That’s a hard one.. honestly, I just wear what I like. Never really cared about wearing any specific brands, and following trends. If I like it I’ll wear it.

Q: Have you always wanted to be a model?
JJ: Nope! Not at all. When I was a kid I didn’t even know what modelling was.
My dad actually worked at a theatre for a short period when I was a kid. I’ve always loved the atmosphere inside an old theatre. I clearly remember him bringing me to work. Since then I’ve always wanted to work with theatre/scenography.
Don’t get me wrong! I absolutely love my job!

Q: What do you love most about Copenhagen?
JJ: THE FOOD! There’s so much great food in Copenhagen.

Q: If you could take a holiday right now where would you go?
JJ: Well I would probably stay in Europe. Maybe rent a car in Paris and drive all the way down to the South of France.
Obviously make a lot of pit stops on the way.

Q: Who are you most inspired by?
JJ: Super cheesy but my mom and my dad. Hard workers and kind hearted.

Q: If you weren’t modeling what would you be doing?
JJ: Probably studying, like most of my friends.

Q: What’s on your music playlist?
JJ: It’s changing all the time. But at the moment a lot of Amy Winehouse, Etta James and  Nina Simone. I have a big soft spot for strong vocals.

Q: Favourite Shevoke sunglasses in the shoot?
